Meter Calibrations

Even though state inspectors test all fuel dispensing meters, they are tested using a threshold of +6 Cubic Inches to -6 Cubic Inches per 5-gallon certified testing prover. Depending on the volume of sales and the cost that you pay for fuels, you could be losing a very large amount of money by giving fuels to your customers. Or worse than that, you could be taking a large amount of money from your customers. In most cases the meters we tested were giving away fuel while others were significantly taking away fuel - both of which should be avoided.
